Dr. Julia R. Kellcy with The Spa on Par 3 in Horseshoe Bay, Texas is a Texas native with board certifications in internal medicine, pediatrics, and hospice and palliative care. She earned her undergraduate degree at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas and her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

She completed her residency training in both internal medicine and pediatrics in the United States Army, where she was stationed in El Paso and served for eight years.

Following her Army service, Dr. Kellcy opened a private practice in New Braunfels, Texas and built it up for 12 years before transferring the practice to her sister, a family medicine physician. She then focused her energies on hospital medicine.

Since 2010, Dr. Kellcy has served as an intensive care physician and hospitalist for three hospital systems, and she still serves as medical director for hospice organizations.

Dr. Kellcy has a strong passion for helping others, illustrated by her mission work in Haiti and sponsoring young Haitian women through medical school. She also has a local nonprofit organization to help Women and Children in Texas.
